About Cecilio Books
Cecilio Books LLC is a virtual bookkeeping firm registered in Massachusetts, and it serves small businesses anywhere in the United States. The work is done online, for businesses the owner runs personally: contractors, cleaning crews, restaurants, salons, and small shops.
Cecilio Books offers three services. With monthly bookkeeping, every transaction gets sorted and every account is checked against the bank before the month closes. Cleanup catches up books that fell behind, whether by a few months or a few years. Setup builds the QuickBooks Online file from scratch, with bank feeds connected and categories in place, so the first month starts clean.
Tax rules and accounting software change every year. Your monthly routine does not. By the 15th the work is finished, and two reports arrive by email: a Profit and Loss for the money that came in and went out, plus a Balance Sheet for where the business stands. Come tax season, your accountant receives a year that is already sorted.
The bookkeeper works inside your own QuickBooks as a guest, so no passwords change hands. Pricing is published, along with the terms and the privacy policy, and you can read all of it before getting in touch.

I'm Debora Cecilio, and Cecilio Books is my firm. The first clients were people I already knew: a landscaper and a plumber who ran his jobs out of a van. They worked hard all week, then spent the weekend sorting receipts, never sure the numbers were right. I wanted them to have a bookkeeper who answers the phone and keeps their records current, so I built the firm to do exactly that.
Intuit publishes my credentials on Credly, which means you can look me up before we ever speak. Every quote request arrives in my own inbox, and I answer it myself, usually within one business day. There is no queue, and no one else to pass it to.

What is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor?
A QuickBooks ProAdvisor is a bookkeeper or accountant certified by Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks. Intuit tests ProAdvisors on setting up and running QuickBooks Online. Debora Cecilio carries Gold ProAdvisor standing, plus five other Intuit credentials, all of them visible on her Credly profile.
What's the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?
A bookkeeper maintains the daily record: transactions sorted, balances checked against the bank, and the books up to date. Taxes and planning belong to an accountant. For most small businesses the bookkeeper comes first. Debora is that bookkeeper, and the tax work stays with your accountant.
Do I need to buy new software?
No. Your existing QuickBooks Online account is where the work gets done, or a new one is opened in your name. The login stays yours, while the bookkeeper gets guest access to do the work, nothing more.
Where is Cecilio Books located?
Cecilio Books is registered in Massachusetts and operates online only, without an office that clients visit. Since each client's books stay in their own QuickBooks Online account, the firm can serve small businesses in every US state.
Is it really just Debora?
Yes. One person runs Cecilio Books, and Debora Cecilio does every piece of the work herself. No client's books are ever handed off to a junior bookkeeper or a call center.
What languages does Debora work in?
Debora Cecilio works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A client can choose one at the first message and receive everything that follows, including the monthly reports, in that language.
Can you clean up books that are months behind?
Yes. That's what cleanup is for. Debora works through the old records, rebuilds them properly in QuickBooks Online, and brings the books up to date. Monthly bookkeeping takes over from there.
